Overview
The Assistant Director of Compliance oversees program conformity with applicable agency and regulatory standards. The Asst. Director reviews and evaluates compliance with requirements such as Licensing and CARF Standards as well as matters involving Medicaid and DCF requirements. Internally, the Asst. Director reviews and evaluates staff adherence to Agency Policy and Procedures, as well as the Agency Code of Ethics.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular reviews of programs to ensure conformity with agency and regulatory standards.
- Conducts review of Monthly Reports for Residential and Vocational programs.
- Develops and maintains a clear understanding of DDD Licensing and CARF Standards. Assists agency in maintaining requirements to meet accreditation and licensing conditions.
- Implements Agency Code of Ethics, assist with Policies and Procedures update, family Asst. Directory update, HCBS policies update and management of Therap ISP database.
- Provides training to program supervisors in managing the day-to-day operations of programs.
- Conducts agency investigations of allegations of abuse and neglect following the DDD Office of Investigations and CIMU protocol and Agency Policy and Procedures.
- Works collaboratively with management and staff in the evaluations of Agency services provided to people with disabilities and their families. Outcomes for individual’s health, well-being, safety, and quality of life are areas of primary importance.
- Serves as advocate for individuals at team meetings.
- Serves as member of the Agency’s Safety Committee.
- Serves as Chairperson for the ArcReach Committee.
- Serves as lead of the Incident Reviewing Committee (IRC) to seek ways to minimize incidents.
- Responsible for other duties assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age. One year’s experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a bachelor's degree in a human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling or psychology.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
