The Arc of Central Alabama is an organization that provides a full range of services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc is looking for an initiative-taking, technology savvy, meticulous individual to join our Employment Services team. They will provide administrative support for employment, transition, and career programming, and will have a broad and varied role, with tasks being allocated by multiple people at a variety of levels across the division. Overall responsibilities include:

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Reviews and approves entries in our Electronic Data System.
  • Compile and email multiple daily reports to leadership
  • Assist with basic assurance reports.
  • Assist with documentation/forms for clinical services
  • Assist with Personal Outcome Measures (POM) data collection Quality assurance.
  • Perform other duties as needed by leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take initiative within the scope of work.
  • Manages time efficiently and prioritizes tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership orally and in writing.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions and have good judgment.
  • Meticulous and thorough.
  • Displays a professional attitude and demeanor.


Experience:

  • 3 year(s) of administrative experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Associate, BS, or BA degree in business, office administration, or a related field is preferred


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must clear all background checks and pre-hire testing.
