Position: Transporter
Location: Arkville, Walton, New York
Job Summary: Primary responsibility involves transportation of passengers and other related duties designated by the Transportation Department.
- Assumes responsibility for safely transporting individuals to and from day program sites or as assigned.
- Picks-up and delivers materials and equipment, as directed, to various sites and departments within the Agency as assigned.
Job Types: Substitutes, Half-time, Three-quarter time available
Salary: $17.60 per hour
Shifts Available: Day shift.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid New York driver’s license.
- Pass pre-employment checks.
- Provide PPD within the past year.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Non-CDL position.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Must be a minimum age of 18
- Candidate must have a positive demeanor with the ability to be tactful, sensitive, and empathetic.
