What are the responsibilities and job description for the ARC/AWC-Direct Support Professional position at The Arc of Franklin-Fulton Counties?
The Arc is a non-profit agency that serves children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We have been active in the Chambersburg community since the 1950's. We offer various services and programs to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities have the life they want. Direct care professionals are essential to the lives of the individuals that we serve. They can assist individuals in completing daily tasks, participating in community activities, providing relief for caregivers and so much more!
ARC 1st-Female located in Chambersburg, going out into the community 2-3 times a month, consumer likes going out to eat and going to Cluggy's to play arcade games. The rate of pay would be $17.40 an hour. No personal care needed, help with money management, transportation to and from outings.
AWC 2nd-Female located in Waynesboro 40 hours a week Monday through Friday daytime hours. Would help consumer with eating, hygiene needs, preferred activities such as watching movies, and listening to music, the pay rate is $17.25 an hour.
