Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Direct Support Professional at The Arc of High Point in High Point, NC. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily activities, providing transportation, implementing individualized care plans, and promoting independence and community integration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Reliable vehicle
- Human Services, Intellectual Disabilities, and Training skills appreciated but not required
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus but not required
- Full-time availability
Salary : $14 - $15
