The Arc of Monmouth serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in group homes, day programs and supported employment. We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Residential Associate Group Home Manager.
Summary:
The Associate Group Home Manager assists the Group Home Manager with the overall management of the daily operations of group homes.
Role of Residential Supervisor:
- Assure group home operates in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Arc of Monmouth and the standards of its funding and accrediting sources
- Ensure that the service plan goals for each participant are implemented, progress is documented, and the goals are reviewed and updated, as necessary
- Assist in activities of daily living
- Assist with personal care, as needed
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication
- Provide transportation
- Assist in implementation of individual plans and behavioral plan goals
- Support people to achieve personal outcomes that characterize a high quality of life
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree and/or
- Two years of supervisory experience in an I/DD setting
- A valid NJ driver's license with no more than 5 points
- Experience working with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
