What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing FT position at The Arc of Monroe?
Provides supervision, guidance and support to a team of RNs working within the Arc’s Residential Program. Ensures nursing services are provided in compliance with regulatory guidelines and agency policy expectations. Ensures individuals are receiving appropriate and coordinated ongoing health care. The Director of Nursing will provide education and guidance to the team to maximize the quality of service delivery. Director of Nursing will work with senior leadership team to ensure that the nursing department is strategically aligned with agency’s expectations for training and accuracy in the use of the agency’s Electronic Health Record system. He/she will also be responsible for assisting the agency in introducing new health evaluation strategies and tools.
Minimum Education & Experience
- BSN required and MSN preferred with two (2) years’ experience working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Minimum of 8 progressive leadership/management experience.
Licensure/Certification
- Current license by the NYS Department of Education as Registered Nurse
- Valid NYS drivers’ license and reliable transportation to travel via car to various Agency residential locations to complete tasks
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
