Direct Support Associate
Position Status: Part-time
Location: Taylorsville, NC

Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support in the workplace to build skills and maintain focus.
- Support career planning, including short- and long-term goal setting.
- Implement graduated steps toward independence, promoting skill development at each stage.
- Identify and facilitate social opportunities to build connections within the community.
- Encourage community participation through recreational and social activities.
- Foster independence while providing guidance and encouragement.
- Implement individualized support plans and document progress.
Requirements:
- Experience: Two years experience in caregiving for individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is required, as some responsibilities may involve transportation.
- Online Training: Demonstrate the ability to complete online training and documentation.
