Workforce Development Coordinator

Location : Warsaw and Fort Wayne, IN

Pay : $22.69 per hour

Easterseals Northern Indiana is seeking a dedicated and passionate Workforce Development Coordinator to support the daily operations and coordination of our employment training and educational programs. This role is integral in ensuring the successful implementation of programs like Supported Work Groups, Employment Readiness Academies, and Learning Labs, helping individuals achieve their employment goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Implementation & Participant Support : Assist with developing and implementing training programs, supporting individuals in gaining essential employment skills, and promoting independence.
Staff Supervision & Development : Lead, supervise, and provide training to staff, ensuring the highest quality of service and continued professional growth.
Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, participants, employers, and community partners to foster positive relationships and ensure successful program delivery.
Documentation & Compliance : Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to agency policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for extended periods, and assisting individuals with mobility needs.

Ability to respond to emergencies and work in diverse community settings (manufacturing facilities, hospitals, etc.).
