What is Clinical Services at The Arc of Opportunity?
Clinical services at The Arc of Opportunity provide advanced and specialized guidance in support of individual’s behavioral and clinical needs across all programs within the agency. Clinical Services ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards and advocates for the individuals supported.
What Does the Division Director of Clinical Services Do?

- Leads behavior services for persons in the Arc programs and supervises a team of behavior clinicians and an expressive therapist.
- Maintains agency clinical support policies and procedures to ensure regulatory, licensing and accreditation standards are met.
- Administers quality compliance systems for behavior support protocols including Positive Behavior Supports to maintain high standards of care.
- Directs agency-wide staff training regarding all behavior support protocols and guidelines; develops staff trainings as needed.
- Develops and executes short/long term goals which enhance and support organizational strategic plan and priority initiatives
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field
- Must be a current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) with MA Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions
- Licensed in MA as a psychologist, licensed mental health counselor, master’s level speech pathologists, or master’s level special education teacher with ABA training will be considered
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate training and/or experience in function-based behavioral assessment and treatment for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorders, and multi-tiered systems of support (PBS)
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of supervisory experience within Human Services
