Position Description
Direct Support Professionals work to support persons with disabilities that are in a self-directed program. Our self-directed program gives the individual supported and their family the opportunity to co-design and direct their supports. Direct Support Professionals in this role assist with household skill training/assistance, socialization opportunities and motivation, transportation to and from activities, and direct care.EOE
Hourly Rate: $17.49 per hour
Available Schedules:
FT and PT openings
Must be able to attend 4-5 daytime trainings if hired
Requirements:
A HS Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License with at least one year of non-permit driving experience.
Access to a vehicle is required for the purposes of this position.
Must be comfortable transporting individuals we support around the local community.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable giving individuals direct care including assisting with personal hygiene tasks if necessary.
