We are currently hiring a Landscaping Crew Lead to join our team. You will provide training to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them succeed equipped with the right skills in their group supported employment work sites.
Location: Miramar Military Base
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7a-3p
The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.

A typical day will include:
- Providing direction and completing landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, edging and minor irrigation.
- Ensuring completion of work tasks as required by the employer and/or established procedures.
- Providing on-going training to participants throughout the workday as needed.
- Collecting and recording data on participant’s goals as required.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with employer and other employees at the work site.
- Emulating exemplary work behaviors at all times.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Experience in landscaping services including with heavy machinery (riding mower, chainsaw, trimmer)
- HS Diploma or GED
- Physically capable of performing a range of tasks; including moving and lifting equipment and materials up to 100 pounds; ability and willingness to work in adverse weather
- Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record; able and willing to transport clients
We’d love it if you:
- Were multi-lingual (English, Spanish preferred)
- Had experience as a job coach or employment specialist for individuals with disabilities
