Join Our Team as a Residential Specialist Floater!
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact across San Diego County? As a Residential Specialist Floater, you’ll have the unique opportunity to support multiple residential homes within an assigned geographical area, providing vital, culturally sensitive direct support services. Reporting to the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, you’ll play a key role in fostering independence and inclusion for program residents. Through person-centered approaches and strategies, you’ll empower individuals to actively engage in every aspect of their daily lives, exercise choice and control, and achieve greater independence. Your role will include filling in for planned and unplanned vacancies and absences of Residential Specialists as assigned by QIDP and/or other Residential Management.
Schedule Sun-Thu from 2pm-10pm
The Pay Range for this Position is $18.50 - $18.50.

A typical day will include:
- Traveling between designated residential homes as needed to provide direct support.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, personal care, and participation in meaningful activities.
- Supporting residents in achieving their Individual Program Plan goals and fostering independence.
- Administering medications and monitoring health-related needs.
- Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel between assigned locations and transport clients using an Arc vehicle or personal vehicle.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (training provided upon hire).
