What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supported Living Quality Assurance Training Coordinator position at The Arc of Spokane?
The Quality Assurance Trainer Coordinator will work with Quality Assurance Manager and Supported Living team to provide The Arc of Spokane employees with basic certification training and enhanced competency training to ensure they are equipped to deliver quality services to Supported Living participants.
We are searching for an enthusiastic, quick-study person to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, occasional weekend work. Flexibility in scheduling work required to meet the needs of the Supported Living program.
We offer paid on-the-job training and will assist you in obtaining basic certifications for this field.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 21
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 year of professional or caregiving experience within the last five years in an AFH, enhanced services facility, assisted living, supported living through DDA, or home care setting.
- Must successfully pass a criminal history background and FBI fingerprint check
- Computer skills with MS-Office including PowerPoint
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- 75-hour LTCW certification preferred
- Public speaking experience helpful
- All pay is based on longevity at The Arc of Spokane; thus, the starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour.
