Our College Works Team is seeking a House Manager! This position has overall responsibility for the health and safety of the individuals, is responsible for the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residence and is responsible for the development of positive relationships with neighbors, local businesses and other service providers. They will also oversee the staff in the implementation of the Individualized Service Plan.
This Unique positions is full-time Wednesday - Sunday 12 Noon - 7 PM with on call availability!
Responsibilities:
- Develop the residential habilitation plans including all appropriate assessments, supervises and trains the staff in the implementation of habilitation service plans in accordance with the agency's mission and state regulation.
- Attend and participate in all individualized service plan reviews and meetings with other care providers as needed.
- Oversee the provision of allowable residential habilitation services, ensuring that documentation standards are met. Submits residential habilitation billing in accordance to established timelines.
- Oversee the arrangement of medical appointments with input from the RN.
- Oversee appropriate recreational activities and outings are provided.
- Direct supervision of staff.
- Review for accuracy, approves and processes timesheets, including supporting documentation.
- Provide oversight and guidance if necessary to the persons in the homes in the completion of household tasks such as laundry, menu preparation, shopping, cooking, minor maintenance of the house and grounds with the goal of increasing independence.
- Responsible for maintaining budgets as assigned, i.e. household, grocery, petty cash.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree and one year experience working with people who are developmentally disabled. Specialized training may be substituted for one year (Or)
- High School Diploma and three years experience working with people who are developmentally disabled.
- Valid NYS Driver's License
