SPEECH THERAPIST - Part Time OR Full Time

The Children’s School for Early Development has an immediate Speech Therapist position available in our program serving language-impaired children, birth to 5-years, using a team approach to evaluations and therapy in our self-contained (SC) ABA classrooms and our Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) classrooms.
This position is available for full time OR part time hours depending on applicant’s availability.
Responsibilities include provide diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic services for a broad spectrum of speech disorders in our many locations in Westchester County. Participates in classroom teams and class activities. Provide in- service training to staff as needed/requested. CF supervision toward full certification available; benefits available.
Job Requirements:
· Graduation from an accredited College or University with a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
· Licensed and/or currently registered as a Speech Pathologist or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities by New York State Department of Education as a person eligible for licensure or seeking licensure following a period of paid experience.
· ASHA Certified or seeking certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association by virtue of completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year.
· NYS drivers’ license.
· Knowledge of applicable regulations.
· Entry level with master’s degree considered.
