Description : Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional at The Arc Western Montana!

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.This is a Monday to Friday role, with start times between 8 : 00 AM and 9 : 00 AM and end times between 3 : 00 PM and 4 : 00 PM.We are now offering a $300 sign-on bonus for successful new full-time employees!

Location : The Center, just off S Russell St

Competitive Pay :

  • Base Pay : $17.50 - 18.00 per hour
  • Sign-On Bonus : $300

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Keep accurate electronic records.
  • Administer medications.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
  • Support community outings and client activities.
  • Assist with educational and skill-building activities.
  • Use Mandt training for behavior management.

    • Work Schedules :

  • Monday-Friday, starting at either 8 or 9am and finishing at either 3 or 4pm.

    • We can work with your availability!

    Employment Options :

  • Full-Time : 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

    Requirements :

    What We're Looking For :

  • Compassionate & Respectful : Passion for helping others.
  • Reliable : Dependability is crucial.
  • Minimum Age : 18 years or older.
  • Driver License : Have held a valid driver license for 3 years with a relatively clean record for the last 3 years.
  • Background Check : Must pass all required checks.
  • Communication Skills : Effective in English, including electronic communication.
  • Drug Testing : Required as per Montana State Law.
  • Experience : Preferred but not required; we provide training.
