Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Engineering to lead our technical team in delivering innovative and energy-efficient solutions. This hybrid role, based in New York City , requires deep expertise in energy auditing, retro-commissioning (RCx), steam heating systems, and NYC local laws related to energy and building performance. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, manage engineering projects, and ensure compliance with evolving city regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct and manage energy audits to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Implement and oversee retro-commissioning (RCx) processes to optimize building performance.
- Ensure compliance with NYC local laws , including LL87, LL97, and other energy efficiency regulations.
- Provide expertise in steam heating systems , optimizing performance and energy consumption.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop sustainable engineering solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineering staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
