Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilledManual Machinistto join ourSmall Motors Department. This role involvesprecision machining and fabricationofsmaller-scale motor componentsusing strictlymanual equipment—no CNC machinery. The ideal candidate must haveexperience operating manual lathes, mills, and machining toolsto achieveclose tolerances and precise measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performmanual machining operationson smaller-scale motor components
• Operatemanual lathes, mills, and other machining toolsto fabricate and repair motor parts
• Work withprecision measurementsandtight tolerancesto ensure quality and accuracy
• Read and interprettechnical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance withsafety standardsand company procedures
• Collaborate with theSmall Motors Foreman and Small Motors Managerto meet department goals
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience with manual lathes and fabrication is required—no CNC experience needed
• Strong ability towork with measurements and close tolerances
• Must be fully trained and able to workindependently—no manpower available for full training
• Some learning curve is expected, but prior machining experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to liftup to 50 poundsand stand for extended periods
