Your role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the dining areas and supporting a seamless a la Carte service. You will assist with various tasks to ensure exceptional service for our members and collaborate with your team to meet the needs of both guests and coworkers. Your attention to detail and proactive support will contribute significantly to the overall success of our service.Essential Duties
- Set up and maintain the wait staff serving station to ensure a smooth service flow.
- Bus tables promptly during the dining experience to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for members.
- Assist in keeping the dishwashing area clean and organized.
- Sort and separate china, silverware, and glassware for efficient use and cleanliness.
- Set and reset tables as needed, and ensure the dining room remains clean and well-organized.
- Move tables and chairs to accommodate reservations and maintain optimal dining layouts.
- Attend pre-service meetings and training sessions to stay informed and prepared.
- Learn and address members by name to provide a personalized experience.
- Adhere to service guidelines and company standards to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Assist with cocktail service and food running as needed throughout the clubhouse.
- Perform the serving cycle, including seating guests, presenting menus, taking and serving orders, and bussing tables.Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Server Assistant is preferred
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Problem solver, self-motivated, and organized.
- Food Handler Certified
- TABC CertifiedPhysical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
