The Ark is looking for a hard working, dependable person with animal care experience. The right candidate will be willing to work a flexible schedule and be available to work some weekends and holidays. Must be comfortable working with dogs of various sizes and temperaments as well as cats from feral to house cats. This is a full time position that includes cleaning, animal enrichment, working with the public, and basic medical care. Must be able to work well with a team as well as independently. Candidates must be willing to learn and adhere to strict safety/handling/sanitation and record keeping protocols. Previous professional experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Experience:
- Veterinary/Shelter: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
