What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Management Co-op position at The Armor Group, Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY
The student will gain exposure to a variety of company practices both on an everyday basis and as a long-term overall understanding of the manufacturing industry. The student will provide support to the Project Management team in the form of completing a project that will provide a solution to an on-going area of opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Various tasks relating to the Project Management area
- Completing work or a specific project that will provide a solution to an opportunity the team has encountered
- Additional tasks as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with a variety of positions within the company.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities at once
- Ability to address situations with good judgment and integrity
- Excellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong business relationships
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate level program
- Minimum sophomore level standing
- 3.2 GPA or higher desired
EQUIPMENT USED
This position will use a computer, fax machine, scanner and projector.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position will be spending a significant amount of time on the shop floor but will have an indoor office environment as well.
