The Armor Group is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on inventory levels, trends, and projections, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and systems related to both finished goods and materials inventory management and reconciliation.
- Analyze finished goods and material inventory performance metrics, including product turnover and days of supply across all inventory locations.
- Partner with the Global Business Planning team to forecast demand and develop inventory plans that meet business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, execute inter-warehouse transfers, and proactively address potential stock imbalances.
- Investigate and recommend solutions to inventory-related issues, including cycle counts and year-end physical inventory reconciliation.
- Develop and distribute regular finished goods and materials inventory reports to management on a regular basis.
