Pay Rate/Range: $15-20/hr
Description:
• Reads and interprets blueprint designs of the product to be manufactured and sets machine to produce product/components to customer specification.
• Programs router by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, trigonometry, proving part programs.
• Sets up router to manufacture parts; loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.
• Makes mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements.
• Periodically checks CNC machine to ensure positioning of drills stay perfectly aligned.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment through preventative maintenance; following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Abides by the policies, procedures and work rules established by the plant.
• Establishes and maintains Company housekeeping standards.
• Performs other related duties that contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
• Requires walking, bending/twisting, and standing for prolonged periods.
• Proficient use of hands and finger dexterity for manual handling of materials.
• Involves frequent heavy lifting up to 100 lb. utilizing proper lifting techniques.
• Capability to identify different parts in a specific order and select appropriate hardware.
• Effective utilization of Epicor for order processing.
• Forklift operation skills when required.
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
