Pay Rate/Range: $17.00/hr
Description:
A local metal finishing company is seeking a 2nd shift quality inspector to review and inspect customer-supplied products for quality issues after processing. Responsibilities include reviewing job routers, performing physical inspections, maintaining documentation, following company quality procedures, and communicating daily with managers. The role also requires the ability to manage time, provide feedback for improvements, and ensure on-time delivery. Flexibility with hours and a focus on customer satisfaction is essential.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
- Knowledge of metals, mechanical properties, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Shift/Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:30pm
