Title: Wellness Advisor

Position Summary:
The Wellness Advisor ensures an outstanding customer service experience for all guests.
Job Duties:
- Greets guests in a warm and professional manner, with a smile, proper verbiage, and etiquette.
- Answers the telephone and respond to email inquiries using proper etiquette
- Describe services, packages, and detox retreats, using clear and professional language
- Book appointments using our reservations software system
- Read back appointment information to guests; obtain credit card information; inform of 24-hour cancellation policy, and offer directions
- Check-in guests for services, process payment and provide an orientation of Center
- Inform providers of last-minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed, by working with Wellness Supervisor/Wellness Director
- Help maintain the serene wellness environment
- Promote our signature Shankara Skin Care line and assist guests with retail
- Create personalized Wellness Itineraries using Google Docs
- Be familiar with Retreat Center activities and property features
- Receive SAW packages, follow a specific protocol
- Walkthrough lounges, straighten and restock amenities
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked office area
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Aid in coordination between booking departments
- Fill out work orders for maintenance needs in the wellness center
- Assist Lead Wellness Supervisor with inventory and special projects
- Attend departmental meetings as scheduled by Wellness Director/AOLRC management
Skill and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in spa/hospitality industry preferred (not required)
- Clear, effective, and pleasant communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Desire to grow and be open to feedback
- Ability to develop/maintain positive and professional relationships with team members
- Understand and display spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, wellness)
- Flexible to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the spa/retreat center; weekend/holiday availability required
