We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for almost 40 years and employs about 170 employees. The Art Source, Inc. has three sister companies - Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors & CocoNene. We make products for the home locally here in Hawai'i, in our Manufacturing Facility in Kapolei, and service our customers through our retail locations all over the Hawaiian Islands. We are paying $16.50/h for a full-time Print Shop Production Worker to assist in the manufacturing of artsy gifts and souvenirs. There is the potential to earn more after 90 days of successfully performing in the position, along with a performance-based incentive through company profit-sharing (additional $1-2/h more). Responsibilities:
- Complete orders according to deadlines
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Produce work orders to customer specs with quality and attention to detail
- Operate laser engravers & other machines, use various hand tools
- Work independently and in a team environment
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Reliability
- Ability to stand on feet for 8h a day
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more, preferred
- Comfortability and ability to operate machines and work with pneumatic tools
- Basic mathematical knowledge, experience/ability to read a tape measure
- Willingness to learn & grow
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule: M-F, evening shift (2-10pm)
