We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we sell to our customers through our various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We are looking for a part-time positive, driven, up-beat sales associate to be a brand ambassador to all things Aloha for our resort store in Ko'olina. This means providing unmatched customer service, selling our fun, unique and Hawaii-made decor & souvenirs straight from the local artists and designers we partner with, all while imparting our own unique Hawaii stories with clients. We are paying $18-22/h (this includes base pay plus commissions). Part-time employees qualify for an employee discount of 25% across all sister companies. Day-to-day responsibilities:
In this role, the associate will be required to assist guests with their shopping experience by providing outstanding customer service skills, participate in the daily store up-keep, organizing, and cleaning, checking in new shipments, restocking products, and transferring of goods in and out of the store, cash handling, operating point of sale system, preparing bank cash deposits, and other sales duties.
Here is what we are looking for in candidates:
- Customer service experience
- Cash handling experience
- Microsoft excel
- Self-starting
- Comfortable working under pressure
- High school graduate or equivalent
Status and Schedule:
- Some with full availability during our opening hours, 9a-8p, to cover opening, overlap, and closing shifts. Hours available will range from 10 hrs/week, as needed.
