The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities. Housekeepers play a vital role in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests by upholding the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guestroom amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and surfaces.
- Sanitize and disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls.
- Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and designated areas.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or needed repairs to the appropriate department.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or special accommodations.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized and stocked manner.
- Follow hotel safety and security guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet cleaning deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Friendly and professional attitude toward guests and team members.
