Position Summary
This individual is responsible for the flow of service, guest experience, team members schedules. Works closely with the GM in regards to store and team member needs.
This includes overseeing the store team members, delegating tasks evaluating team member performance, managing staff & guest issues and designing work schedules with the GM.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the GM in realizing or exceeding determined sales plans and target KPI objectives.
- Train staff on how to drive sales through consistent development of product knowledge and customer service standards
- Writing team member schedules
- Ensure consistent execution of company’s marketing and visual presentation
- Upholds safety and DCC compliance compliance standards daily
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to Sr. Management
- Timesheet audits to ensure all team members hours reflect accurately prior to payroll processing
- Participate in daily Manager on Duty shift responsibilities
- Assists in daily drop reconciliations when store manager is not in or whenever deemed necessary
- Assist in courier pick ups and accurately record cash entering and leaving the store
- Assists in customer service quality assurance including resolving customer complaints
- Creates long lasting relationships with team members and guests
- Assists in identifying deficiencies in service operations
- Maintains standards set forth by the GM
- Communicates any team member issues to GM and assists in executing disciplinary action
- Open/Close the store and ensure all procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the GM
Experience/Knowledge/Education:
Previous two (2) or more years experience as a store supervisor or above. Basic knowledge of state and local compliance laws preferred.
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
Must be 21 or older. English speaking or bilingual. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Well versed in communicating effectively and concisely. Dependable. Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking for long periods of time. Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 30 lbs. of bulk goods. Exposure to cleaning agents.
