Tableau Administrator/Developer – Hybrid or Remote (Minneapolis/Chicago) – $70-$75/hr
Contract Duration: 6 months (Contract only unless AWS QuickSight experience)
Location: Hybrid in Greenwood Village, CO, or Remote (Minneapolis/Chicago)
Experience: 5-7 years in Tableau Administration & Development
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Certifications: Tableau Admin/AWS preferred
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator/Developer to manage and optimize the Tableau Server environment while developing high-quality dashboards and visualizations. Strong Tableau Admin and development skills required; AWS QuickSight and IBM Cognos experience are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Tableau Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server (Windows platform)
- Manage user access, security, performance monitoring, and SSL certificates
- Automate tasks using tabcmd, TSC, PowerShell, or Python
- Ensure compliance, backups, disaster recovery, and license management
✅ Tableau Development:
- Design and optimize interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop
- Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and SQL queries
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective visualizations & reporting
- Maintain data accuracy and implement advanced Tableau features (LOD, parameters, sets, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Strong Tableau Server & Desktop experience
- Proficiency in SQL & ETL processes
- Experience with AWS QuickSight & IBM Cognos (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and automation skills
