Contract Length: 6 months, with likelihood to extend

Job Details:

The IT Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with functional and development teams to ensure enterprise applications meet customer expectations and integrate well with the rest of the company’s IT landscape. This position will be responsible for the comprehensive testing of software applications through test plan creation, test case (manual and/or automated) development, and test case execution that supports the business. This position will document all issues found as part of the software application testing and will work with appropriate development resources to resolve them. This person will provide testing progress status (via test execution results) and problem resolution status to management as required and should be able to identify and recommend improvements to current processes and procedures that will enhance and increase the efficiency of future software application testing. This person will help to define the testing strategy and automation strategy with the IT Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the IT Quality Assurance team is utilizing the most efficient processes and procedures for the execution of testing.

Skills Required:

• 10 years’ experience in software testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches for manual and automated testing

Skills Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and Scrum

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in the creation and deployment of successful automation test strategies that support shift-left initiatives

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10 or more years of relevant experience

• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
