Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Systems Engineer role calls for a high level of experience managing Microsoft Azure and networking skills, as in this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based and on-premises systems while maintaining networking infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include deploying Azure services, optimizing system performance, managing network configurations, and maintaining system security to support organizational goals.

Our Systems Engineer must collaborate with team members, client projects, and technical operations. Daily tasks may range from assisting the IT Help Desk Manager, Engineering Team, or executive teams with management of SOCII, PCI, or CMMC procedures. The best fit for our culture is someone with a high level of technical skill who also has excellent communication skills. This individual must be highly organized and willing to work behind a desk or in the field on rare occasion.

• Servers: Demonstrate an expert level of technical experience managing the following environments: Azure, Azure AD, Intune Policy, Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, AD Group Policy

• Data Migration: Must have a seasoned level of experience migrating data from AD to Azure AD, Azure cloud

• Endpoint Management: Experience managing InTune Group Policy, preferred Ninja RMM experience, EDR or other MDR solutions

• Back up and disaster recovery: Preferred knowledge of Datto BCDR and Acronis BCDR, experienced managing BCDR and tabletop testing for compliancy-focused industries

Requirements:

*Must have at least an Associate Degree (IT focus); Bachelor’s degree is preferred

*Minimum of 12 years of experience in the IT industry required

*Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer (recent exp)

*Minimum of 4 years networking experience required

*Must have a seasoned level of experience migrating data from AD to Azure AD, Azure cloud

* Server data migration skills and SharePoint migration skills are required.

* Experience with Cisco, Cisco Meraki, or Fortinet is preferred. Must be able to install and configure firewalls and VPNs.

Must have experience managing InTune Group Policy, preferred Ninja RMM experience, EDR or other MDR solutions

Required experience with Microsoft Defender or Mimecas

*Must have excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with external customers
