The Asia Group seeks to hire a staff accountant to provide financial support for the firm, specifically the Controller and Chief Operating Officer. The accountant will coordinate closely among our staff and senior advisors.
Candidates must have a BS in Accounting or equivalent 4-year degree. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience providing administrative support and managing multiple competing priorities as well as strong attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include

Responsibilities Include
- Manage and reconcile company credit card and travel transactions
- Reconcile monthly cash transfers and bank accounts;
- Record and reconcile general ledger entries
- Oversees the accounting operations for TAG-US and all subsidiaries
- Preparing consolidated monthly and year-end financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles
- Identifying and implementing improvements in accounting processes and systems,
- Assisting with tax planning and preparation
- Coordinating and participating in annual compliance and statutory audits
- Assist in any ad-hoc financial reporting projects
- May perform other special projects or duties according to business needs
- College degree (BS);
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail and customer service;
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multi-task;
- Self-starter and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; and,
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
