TAG seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate General Counsel (AGC) to provide critical legal support across business operations. The position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney to engage with diverse legal matters, collaborate across teams, and get-in on the ground floor in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in commercial contracts, compliance, international law, and regulatory matters, including the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) and the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). They should be adaptable, proactive, and capable of balancing legal risks with strategic business goals.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide legal counsel on diverse topics, including commercial contracts, employment law, corporate governance, foreign legal matters, and compliance with the LDA and FARA.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Manage relationships with outside counsel, including foreign legal consultants.
- Develop and maintain internal filing systems for organizing commercial and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with leadership and the operations team to develop and implement policies that support compliance, operational objectives, and risk mitigation.
- Assist the General Counsel in advising on and delivering training on legal ethics topics, including the FCPA, LDA, and FARA.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
- May be assigned special projects or other duties as needed according to business needs.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and are expected to work in-person at the TAG DC office five days per week. For this role, TAG offers a salary of $150,000-$200,000 per year, based on experience.
