Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will have cash application, research skills and a solid customer service background. This role involves assessing credit risk, analyzing financial data, and providing insights that support credit accounts. The Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, ensuring sound financial practices within the organization.
Responsibilities
1. Post customer payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account records.
2. Reconcile statements and transactions to ensure accuracy.
3. Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail with professionalism and efficiency.
4. Balance daily bank deposits and prepare deposit slips.
5. Support the Accounts Receivable (AR) team with adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and more.
6. Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience: At least 1 year of cash application and AR experience in a fast-paced environment
Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software. Excellent math, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Personal Qualities: Dependable, ethical, and able to adapt to workplace changes with professionalism.
