We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Platform Engineer to implement and maintain solutions within our Workday platform. You will play a critical role in enhancing and expanding our Workday ecosystem, ensuring its functionality aligns with our business requirements. The ideal candidate is experienced in Workday configuration and security, and is capable of driving system improvements supporting various business functions like HR, Finance, Procurement, and Payroll.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Platform Maintenance and Optimization
  • Ensure the Workday system is running smoothly and is optimized for performance
  • Monitor the platform, troubleshoot issues, and apply necessary updates or patches
  • Maintain and enhance integration points with other systems and third-party applications
  • Data Management and Security
  • Manage data integrity and compliance with security policies
  • Configure security groups, manage permissions, and ensure sensitive data is protected
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enforce best practices for data governance
  • Support and Training
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, resolving issues, and assisting with training
  • Create and update documentation for system processes and configurations
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, IT and other departments to understand business needs and improve user experience
  • Thought Leadership
  • Ability to align Workday capabilities with industry regulations, compliance, and business needs
  • Expertise in change management to lead Workday adoption effectively within an organization
  • Skilled in identifying how Workday solutions support broader organizational objectives and goals
  • Ability to advise on system design and configuration that aligns with long-term growth and scalability
  • Configuration deployment and development
  • Deploy code and config developed by business teams to Workday enforcing segregation of duties
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards
  • Build and maintain business processes within the Workday platform
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Conduct testing of new functionalities, system upgrades, and configurations
  • Manage release cycles, ensuring minimal disruption during updates
  • Implement test scripts and use test cases to validate system changes
  • Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, or equivalent combination of education & experience is required with an emphasis in Information Systems, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working on Workday Financials is required
  • Experience in HCM and other Workday modules preferred
  • Working knowledge on integrations preferred
  • Workday Partner experience preferred
  • Workday certifications in relevant modules (such as HCM, Integration, Financials) are highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in data migration & conversion and impacts on BPs required
  • Proficiency in all phases of SDLC, including production support required
  • Agile delivery experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, especially with remote teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication and soft skills preferred
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Annual pay range : $123,000-145,000 / year
