Location: Village of Meyerland, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior comunity
Pay: 60,000/year
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative and operational support for resident care and medication programs.
- Assist the Business Office Manager with new hire paperwork, time sheets, and evaluations.
- Coordinate and assist with the scheduling of medication and care assistants.
- Support communication with residents, families, physicians, and pharmacies regarding medication and care needs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation, including EMAR updates and medication audits.
- Monitor and ensure daily resident services are completed as outlined in service plans.
- Provide support for on-site assessments and pre-admission evaluations.
- Foster positive relationships among residents, families, and staff to ensure a welcoming community environment.
- Assist in ensuring ancillary medical services and appointments are scheduled and followed through.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure memory care activities and programs run smoothly.
- Participate in training sessions and provide assistance with staff development initiatives.
- Maintain a professional appearance and support the community’s emergency response efforts as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least one year of experience in senior living, healthcare, or related fields.
- Certification or relevant training in healthcare or administration preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility in hours, shifts, and responsibilities to meet the needs of the community.
