The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is seeking a full-time Donor Account Specialist. We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual with exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a natural talent for delivering outstanding customer service and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This full-time position at our Park Heights campus is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to both our staff and donors. As a key member of the Donor Center team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our donors, managing interactions via email, phone, and in-person. Your responsibilities will include managing donors accounts in light of the Associated Campaign schedule, which runs on a fiscal year, and payment protocols and requirements based on various methods (stocks, IRA, Donor Advised Fund, ACH, Israel bonds, etc.). Employee must be able to handle difficult conversations with donors in a professional manner that is always respectful and represents the values of The Associated. This position also supports the functions of the organization regarding billing, credit cards, collections and other special projects. This role requires a balance of independence and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on initiative, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment while consistently delivering top-tier customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answer donor inquiries including account balances, payments, pledges.
Manage cash collection and billing process.
Process credit card transactions and refunds.
Manage and process write offs and adjustments of pledges and payments.
Data entry and record maintenance in donor relationship management database.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong listening, communicating, and customer service skills
Strong Excel skills
Maintain reliable, regular attendance
Detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Outlook, and Teams
Intermediate Proficiency in Excel
Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $58,000-$65,000; commensurate with experience.
