Role Overview
">The Director of the Carter Innovation Studio will be responsible for leading our efforts to provide students with hands-on learning experiences in design, engineering, and computer science. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. They will be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Develop and implement curricular innovation projects that integrate active-learning and innovative practices
- Manage educational space for collaborative exploration of design, engineering, environmental sustainability, and computational thinking
- Teach and mentor students in various disciplines, including engineering, design, and computer science
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement experiential learning opportunities
