LMSW/LCSW: Clinician

Job Overview – Licensed Clinician (LMSW/LCSW):
Step into a pivotal role with our client as a Licensed Clinician in the Bronx, NY. In this hybrid position, you will conduct clinical assessments, deliver therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support families and children. Your bilingual skills in English and Spanish, along with your expertise in mental health, will play a vital role in promoting safety and well-being within the community.

Compensation: $34 - $37/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Licensed Clinician:

• Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide diagnoses for clients as needed.
• Therapeutic Services: Offer short-term therapy and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with case planners.
• Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis and safety plans for families with mental health concerns.
• Resource Connection: Link clients to appropriate providers, including psychiatrists and substance abuse programs, ensuring consistent follow-up.
• Family Support: Organize client medication schedules, discuss potential side effects, and support adherence to treatment plans.
• Training & Consultation: Conduct staff training sessions, provide chemical dependency expertise, and consult on high-risk cases.

Qualifications for the Licensed Clinician:

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, or a related field.
• Licensure: Holds an LCSW or LMSW (CASAC certification is preferred).
• Experience: LCSW with 2 years or LMSW with 5 years in Mental Health Counseling, including work with diverse populations (substance abuse experience is a plus).
• Skills: Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, and a passion for children and families.
• Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish required!
