LPN Jobs part-time/full-time
Compensation: $40/hour
1. Part-Time (17.5 Hours/Week) Community-Based LPN
Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Deliver 80% of services in the community, including medication administration, health education, and psychoeducation.
- Document progress in compliance with OMH and Medicaid billing standards.
- Coordinate with FACT RN, prescribers, and external service providers.
- Serve adults with psychiatric and substance use treatment needs.
2. Pediatric LPN – Full-Time
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Conduct health assessments, developmental screenings, and physical exams for children.
- Assist with chronic care management (e.g., asthma, diabetes) and administer vaccines.
- Collaborate with behavioral health teams and provide caregiver education.
- Maintain compliance with NYS healthcare regulations and best practices.
Qualifications for Both Roles:
- Licensure: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State.
- Experience:
- Brooklyn role: 3 years with adults in psychiatric nursing or social services.
- Queens role: Pediatric experience required; child welfare background preferred.
- Certification: CPR and First Aid certification required for the pediatric role.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities; tech-savvy with EMRs and documentation.
- Language: Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
