Essential function of the job:
A turndown attendant prepares guest rooms for the evening by making beds, replacing amenities, and removing trash. They also ensure that the rooms are clean and comfortable, and that guests have a memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Make beds: Turn down beds and fold sheets
- Replace amenities: Replenish water, guest amenities, and supplies
- Remove trash: Take out trash, dirty linens, and room service items
- Clean: Dust, polish, and vacuum carpets
- Straighten: Straighten furniture, appliances, and desk items
- Create atmosphere: Turn on nightstand lights, closing blackout curtains
- Respond to requests: Greet guests and respond to their requests
- Report issues: Report any damages, deficiencies, or unusual circumstances to management
- Follow standards: Follow service standards and company policies
Physical demands
- Standing and walking for long distances
- Bending, stooping, and reaching
- Handling and moving objects up to 40 lbs
- Using stairs frequently

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for individuals who have a knowledge of housekeeping with good communication skills. Speaking, writing and reading English is required. Positive attitude and willing to learn is must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
