Overview
Responsible for the inspection of sheet metal fabricated parts, verifying the hardness, conductivity, all dimensional requirements, and material requirements. Responsible for inspection of outside manufacturing offloaded operations, outside processing, and all Buy Part Complete items.
Responsibilities
- Verifies incoming products to ensure products are per purchase orders and customer requirements.
- Verifies part mark for correctness, legibility, and location on BPC parts.
- Populates all dimensional actuals on FAI’s and detailed inspection plans on applicable jobs.
- Ability to set up product on surface plate to calculate measurements.
- Ensures work orders are filled out complete and that all quantities are correct.
- Reports deviations from specifications and requirements to supervisor.
- Ensures all gages utilized for inspection are calibrated and not out of date.
- Responsible to be familiar with the use and navigation of Net Inspect.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and internet software.
Preferred Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
- Detail oriented for documentation correctness
- Familiar with the use and navigation of Net Inspect
