Description:
This position is responsible for supporting, administrating, and maintaining online learning products and services, including Learning Management Systems (LMS). The position will manage relations with third-party administrators, instructors, and students and act as the primary point of contact for online products. This position will work with in-house developers, content experts, and project managers to build courses and course content for online training.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement course assets (html content, content objects, videos, etc.) based on defined course material
- Develop and maintain online training materials (video scripts, FAQ pages, etc.) for instructors and students
- Conduct online training sessions for instructors
- Monitor online services, including LMSs, for stability and functionality
- Create, test, and troubleshoot online content
- Answer support calls from instructors and other customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve system administrator, instructor, and user access issues
- Manage course distribution
- Set up instructor and administrator accounts
- Generate system reports and run custom reports
- Maintain system documentation
- Assist with refining system functionality, including forwarding recommended upgrades to the development team
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, LMS platforms, MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Foundational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software a plus
- Familiarity with eLearning standards, such as SCORM
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate360 is a plus
- Eye for detail, continuity, and consistency
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with tasks executed on a networked computer workstation. May be required to work extra hours and weekends as needed. Infrequent travel may be required.
Education/Training/Experience:
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Instructional Design or related field, or 2 years related experience
- Demonstrated experience using LMS systems, such as Moodle
- Customer support experience a plus

This position is fully on-site at our Orland Park facility. Hybrid and remote options are not available.
