Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures
- Follow recipes and ensure consistent drink quality
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service
Qualifications:
-Must have TABC and Food Handlers Permit
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling purposes
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
