Appliance Installation Associate and Delivery Driver (Full Time)

Job Requirements

The Aubuchon Company is seeking a skilled Appliance Installation Specialist to safely deliver, install, and test household and commercial appliances at customer locations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service to ensure installations meet manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely deliver and install appliances, ensuring proper connections to water, gas, and electrical systems.
• Test appliances post-installation and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance use and maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Complete installation checklists, customer sign-offs, and service logs.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines.

Additional Duties for CDL Drivers:

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure legal compliance.
• Manage fuel needs and conduct additional vehicle safety inspections.

Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance installation, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Experience with gas, water, and electrical connections preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 for CDL drivers).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior delivery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local areas and navigation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and skilled in time management.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• CDL license required for commercial vehicle operation.
• Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).
