Job Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Leader to lead our team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and an understanding of retail operations.
Financial Leadership:
- Demonstrate an understanding of key performance metrics including customer count, average transaction, units per transaction, net sales, controllable expense line items, and 4-wall EBITDA.
- Actively participate in the budgeting process for both sales and payroll.
- Serve as the primary advisor on market-related items that may influence the attainment of budgetary goals.
Sales Leadership:
- Coach team members to drive sales through the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Possess basic knowledge of all departments to assist customers and coach team members effectively.
- Oversee the execution of all online and in-store orders/sales, special orders, and product services.
Merchandising/Operations Leadership:
- Manage gross margin effectively and monitor price changes, audits, and loss prevention reports.
- Evaluate merchandise stock levels and manage backroom stock to support sales and product assortments.
- Drive inventory turnover through merchandising efforts and local promotion/clearance events.
Talent Leadership:
- Train and develop team members to be successful in their roles.
- Resolve team member issues, enforce company policy, and deliver corrective action as needed.
- Promote Employee Engagement through leadership in support of our core values.
- Manage all payroll-related spending effectively.
Work Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities required.
- 1 years of merchandising and operational experience preferred.
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of Benjamin Moore Paint and paint color matching preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible, minimum 40-hour weekly schedule.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.

Training and Growth Opportunities
Pay Ranges from $60,000 to 70,000 and increases with experience. Includes bonus opprotunity.
