Position: Manager of Acute Care Telemetry RN

Work Mode: On-Site

Location: Houston, USA

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the acute care telemetry department.
• Manage patient care coordination and ensure quality standards are met.
• Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support.
• Facilitate training programs for staff development and education.
• Conduct regular patient assessments to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based nursing practices in telemetry care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in budget management and resource allocation.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives within the telemetry unit.
• Handle staffing schedules and manage shift assignments efficiently.
• Coordinate with physicians on patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
  
  

Qualifications

2 years of RECENT (Within the last year) acute care leadership experience within the Med-Surg

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
