POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The shipper/receiver specialist is responsible for safe, efficient and accurate shipping/receiving and inventory control of all shipments. Time management is crucial as well as impeccable accuracy. Working environment is office/shipping department.
JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Receive and send dental shipments.
- Unwrapping and disinfecting cases.
- Ensure received items are complete.
- Process shipments through various courier companies.
- Ensure cases go out in a timely manner.
- Matching cases to invoices.
- Making sure the case is wrapped properly and prepared for shipping.
- Ensuring local shipments are ready for delivery.
- Printing shipping labels.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Strong organisational and record keeping skills.
- Experience in excel; good data entry skills.
- Detail orientated.
- Willing to learn dental terminology & products.
- Must be able to stand for most of the day.
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
- Hourly Wage - $19 / hour.
